General Terms and Conditions

Levels and Courses

The courses at Olé Spanish School offer the 4 different levels; beginners, intermediate, advance and proficiency. Each level is broken down into 3 further levels and these into 12 weeks of study.

The levels are organized by courses and the courses by subjects, in accordance with a structure simple to follow, which allows to complete each unit within a brief dedication period. At the end of each term of 12 weeks an assessment will be given to determine the progress of the students. Consequently follow up courses on terms of 12 weeks will be taking place in order for the students to continue developing their Spanish language skills.

Registration Fee

On application, an enrollment fee / administration fee of £25 will be charged which is non-refundable under any circumstances. Corporate Deposits. On application 25% of the course is payable to guarantee your place. This is non-refundable under any circumstances

Term Fees

A term is assumed to be 3 months long ( 12 weeks). Fees will be paid strictly in advance at the beginning of each term, choosing any of the methods below mentioned. Olé Spanish School can not be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances in the student's personal life that may prevent their attendance. Unfortunately term fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances

Payment Methods

Fees are inclusive of course material but excluded of text books and must be paid in full via the following methods:

·Single cheque payable in advance: Quarterly, Semi-annually

·Cash payable in advance for the quarterly or semi-annual period

·Credit/Debit Card A handling fee applies for Credit/Debit Cards

·Standing order. Form to be requested at Reception

*****Students are required to make arrangements to settle the account immediately, postal order or a building society cheque. Failure to do so

will result in withdrawal from the course.

As all services are individually prepared, full payment must accompany each order. No orders will be accepted without payment in full. Large contracts, which are executed over a long period, may be broken down into stages and paid in instalments.

Late Payments

In accordance with the late payment legislation, our company reserves the right to charge debt recovery costs of £ 5 per day and interest on late payments of 8 %.

Company Payments

Students sponsored by their employer must supply an official purchase order or a letter confirming that the company will be responsible for payment of the fees. An invoice will be issued with 30 days payment terms.

Please ensure that the purchase order or letter accompanies the application form. Failure to do so will result in withdrawal from the course and/or the student becomes liable for payment immediately.

Cancellations and Refunds

Our classes are planned for a limited number of students. For this reason we regret to inform you that fees are not refundable from 5 working days prior to the start date of a course and once a course has started. Please also note that, no partial refund is given for classes missed. Unfortunately Olé Spanish School cannot accept any responsibility for unforeseen changes in student's circumstances that may prevent attendance.

Fees will be fully refunded if a course is canceled by Ole Spanish School due to an insufficient number of students, or for any other reason beyond our control.

Notification Applicants will be informed within 3 working days prior to the scheduled start date of a course whether the course will go ahead.

Continuity/ Commitment: Ole Spanish School organizes courses assuming the student's continuity and commitment to achieve best results. Should you decide to stop after the first term, please note that a minimum of 2 weeks notice is required prior to the start of each term. Should you fail to notify us fees for the whole forthcoming term will be due.

Cancellation of a class. Should we have to cancel a class at any given time for any reasons beyond our control, we will endeavor to find a suitable class to compensate or fees will be refunded

Students Behaviour

We reserve the right to remove from our club any children whose behaviour is constantly inappropriate. .

Viability

In the event of the class size falling below the expected number of students, we may need to either amalgamate the classes or increase the prices to make it viable and cost effective to run. In the event of a course being canceled an alternative class will be offered. Failing this a pro-rated refund will be given.

Spanish Teachers

We will do everything within our reach to make sure that the same teacher continues through the school year. However we reserve the right to replace or substitute a teacher if it becomes necessary.

Insurance

Only paid up members are covered by Public Liability Insurance whilst under the supervision of the appointed teacher. We are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of our tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of our materials.

You the client specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.

Rules and Regulations

All students must undertake to comply with such rules and regulations as may be required by the School. The School requires students to kindly refrain from smoking while on the premises. Friends or other persons who are not enrolled are not permitted to sit in on classes. Ole Spanish school reserves the right to refuse admission.

The information on our website is as accurate as possible. However we do not accept any responsibility for any errors, loss, injury or inconvenience result from a person as a result from information on this site. As an additional service to our customers we deem to provide links in our websites that may be of relevant interest for students , however it is out of control if the information provided on these website links is wrong.

Olé Spanish School will keep records of all students , suppliers and staff carefully, and treat them in strict confidence

All of our quotes will be valid for a month unless otherwise specified.

All complaints should be first address to the teachers to avoid miscommunication. If the dispute or problem can not be resolved then a letter, email or telephone call should be made to the Managing Director of Olé Spanish School, given full details. All complaints received will then be dealt with in confidence, efficiently and courteously..

Clients must agree not to make any separate arrangements with Olé Spanish School staff during contracts and for a period of one year afterwards; all negotiations with Ole Spanish school s staff must be made through Olé Spanish School. Olé Spanish School will not provide staff with customer contact details. Therefore any problems arising from the lesson, should be dealt by contacting the Managing Director at Olé Spanish School

Student Holidays & Absences . Students should notify their tutors if they are not able to attend class .

If you make compensation claim against Olé Spanish School, our liability is no more than the money we have received from you. Furthermore we do not accept liability for any loss, damage or misadventure you may suffer as a result of using our services.

Nothing in these conditions shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer. If you find these conditions unacceptable, we request that you do not use our services. If you do choose to use them then you will enter into agreements with Olé Spanish school and failing the above terms and conditions the relevant law will apply

Terms and Conditions for Private Tuition

Private lessons must be purchase via " Credit Vouchers" on blocks of 10,20 or 30 vouchers. One to One lessons can only be canceled 24 prior to the agreed date and time, failing this notice full payment will be due.

Blocs of lessons purchased will only be valid for 3 months from the date of the first lesson. After this date if no satisfactory attendance has been fulfilled we will assume that you will no longer continue with the classes and the remaining hours will be lost

You should pay Olé Spanish School directly in advance, in cash by cheque or credit/debit cards over the phone or in person (a small surcharge may be applied to card payments).

Classes paid for will take place on the day and time and venue specified in the letter that accompanies these terms and conditions, unless a tutorial is rearranged for a time that is mutually convenient to both tutor and student. Lessons will continue until a mutually agreed termination date is forfeit. We strive to provide the best possible service. Nonetheless, we will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student/client. Although we will do everything in our power to help grades and skill sets improve, we can offer no guarantee there to.
