I have gained so much from these lessons it is hard to know where to start. My ability, to communicate in Spanish has literally stunned and impressed colleagues, friends and family. What it has really done for me is to give me a sense of not being such a foreigner in Spain and able to converse with people and know them and their culture. Being a natural introvert I have found it easier to express myself, to relatively new Spanish friends who in turn have less natural reservation and several will be friends for life. Most importantly, it has also helped in business, to resolve an issue with angry police over an annoying malfunctioning house alarm at 5am, get proper medical attention for a friend and many other things.
